Jaws III (formerly Jaws 3D) | The Pod Bay Doors Movie Podcast, Episode #246

This episode, Jerry and Doug wrap up Turkey Month (finally) with a franchise they’ve visited before, once with reverence, once with contempt and now once with…more contempt. It’s Jaws 3(D)! No, it isn’t a half-assed attempt at making Jaws into something like Pirrahana 3DD, rather they made a half-assed attempt at remaking Jaws (and Jaws 2) in terrible 3D. If it had been done well, the stunt may have enhanced the terror, however, there wound up being no terror to enhance, so it was a dud before it was 3D, and it was a dud after the 3D. Dennis Quaid is the eldest Brody child, now working for sea animal torture jail….I mean Sea World…and a massive great white gets in. Because he’s a Brody and they’re apparently shark magnets. Anyway, it’s Jaws 3(D), so grab your water wings and a piece of driftwood for safty and beware the lagoon!
