Eyes Without a Face; Seconds; and The Face Of Another | The Pod Bay Doors Podcast, Episode #241

| October 24, 2022

In this, our penultimate entry into Shocktober ’22, we present Doug’s pick of three horror(ish) films revolving around faces. Eyes Without a Face (1960), Seconds (1966) and The Face of Another (1966). Each one deals with the face as the source of identity and what some will do to change or improve upon their circumstance, be it disfigurement via an accident (as in 2 of the films) or simple mid-life dissatisfaction. Each one odd and profound in their own rights, together form trio that is largely unnerving at best and disturbing at worst.
